DIRFloortime® Course Catalog

ICDL is the official home of the DIRFloortime® Training Program. 

The DIR 101 Introduction to DIR® and DIRFloortime® course is for professionals, paraprofessionals, parents, and anyone else that wants to join.  Professionals then can continue to progress through the professional certificate courses to become DIRFloortime® practitioners.  Paraprofessionals and professionals alternatively can earn a certificate as a DIRFloortime® Assistant (DFA).  Parents that complete DIR 101 are welcome to take DIR 201 and DIR 202 as audit students.

Most of our courses are live online and are open to participants from anywhere in the world. Please note the time zone listed for each class and check the time difference in your region. Onsite courses have a specific location listed under the name of the class.

Courses listed as "licensed" are courses approved by ICDL and taught by our expert trainers around the world. These are onsite courses and are not administered directly by ICDL. Please contact the trainer/organizer directly if you have any questions.

Continuing Education

Please check each individual course offering for available professional continuing education credits.  Each offering can vary.  We have different continuing education pages and approvals for different courses and conferences.   You must check each individual offering.  

ICDL provides continuing education (CE) credits for certain professions. These CE credits are only available for courses ICDL offers directly. Available continuing education varies by course offering. Please check the specific course offering for continuing education information. Currently, many of ICDL's courses offer professional continuing education credits for:

• Speech and Language Pathologists

• Occupational Therapists

• Counselors

• Social Workers

• Teachers

• Music Therapists

• Physical Therapists

• Early Intervention Specialists 

In addition to courses offered by ICDL, our course catalog will also display courses licensed by ICDL that use the ICDL curriculum and are fully approved by ICDL to be official DIRFloortime® courses. However, ICDL does not provide CE credits for these courses. These are all clearly marked.  Please contact the provider of any ICDL licensed courses to inquire about CE credits.

All participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance documenting hours of participation in their course and available professional continuing education credits.  Please note that continuing education credit is only provided for direct seat time.  Course preparation including readings, lectures, and mentoring is not included in the CE hour or credit total.
