We understand that many clinics and schools are closed which makes our case presentation format impractical or impossible for many. We have reworked our curriculum to temporarily allow participants to earn a Basic Certificate or Certificate of Proficiency (DIR 201 and DIR 202) without conducting a traditional case presentation. We will use alternate learning processes such as role plays and case reflections to facilitate the learning and assess your understanding of the model. If you are able to present a case (virtual sessions are accepted) that will still be a preferable method of assessment. If it is not possible, your competencies will be evaluated with alternative assessment methods.
For DIR 203, which is focused on parent coaching, we are fully accepting virtual online or phone sessions for the case presentations. We have always accepted this, but we want to make sure everyone knows it is an option.
