The DIR® Institute provides educational experiences for professional development within already established disciplines. The DIR® Certificate Program (DIRC) is an educational program for individuals who have credentials and licensing in their disciplines and have completed the educational program in DIR® theory and practice. These include educators, speech, occupational and physical therapists, creative arts therapists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, developmental, school and clinical psychologists and physicians. The following list of professionals includes DIR® Faculty and Facilitators, DIR® Certificate Program Graduates and DIR® Certificate Candidates, level II & III. The list will be updated as candidates progress through the program. Please check back frequently for current information.
- DIR® Faculty are senior professionals in all disciplines who provide the various educational programs at the DIR® Institute as well as at other regional, national and international conferences and workshops.
- DIR® Facilitators are professionals who have attained the DIR® Certificate and are in our “Training of Trainers” program. They assist at the Institute, provide tutoring to candidates, and present at various workshops and meetings.
- DIR® Certificate Program Graduates have completed the educational requirements of the program and have attained the DIR® Certificate. They provide services and workshops in various settings. The DIR® Certificate must be renewed every five years based on continuing education credits.
- DIR® Certificate Candidates, level III are completing their final projects and tutoring, following which they receive their Certificates. They attend the Institute with other level III candidates for advanced workshops.
- DIR® Certificate Candidates, level II, have been invited to proceed to the advanced levels of Certificate program, attend the Institute, and receive tutoring.
