The ICDL Graduate School requires students to register for a minimum of two courses (4 credits) per trimester to ensure that they are able to graduate within the maximum allotted 8 years of enrollment in the program.
Due to the current economic conditions, and ICDL Graduate students being ineligible for Federal Financial Aid because the school is not yet accredited, some students have requested to register for only one course (2 credits).
Under extreme circumstances, the ICDL Graduate School grants an exception to the two course minimum policy, allowing the student to register for only one course.
To apply for an exception:
1. Submit your request, via email, to Barbara Kalmanson and Cecilia Breinbauer, explaining why you are only able to take one course.
2. Your request will be reviewed carefully and you will be notified of a decision. Exceptions are only granted for one-trimester.
3. During the trimester when the student is enrolled in only one course, the student should work with the administration to find alternatives to fund tuition in upcoming trimesters, including working with Lisa Wolf, the registrar, on a payment plan and seeking outside scholarship funding.
The ICDL Graduate School is actively seeking funding for scholarships and students will be informed of any opportunities to apply for aid. |
