This workshop will explore how early life experiences impact neurodevelopment in the foster/adopt child and how clinicians can support parents in nurturing connection and brain health. Michelle Harwell LMFT will be sharing methods for promoting attachment in the foster/adoptive parent-child dyad through an integration of DIR/Floortime principles and Dan Siegel's strategies for mindful parenting

  • Describe neurobiological vulnerabilities for children who have experienced multiple caregivers.
