- Are scholarships available for Applicants?
Limited tuition upon written request of needs sent to DIRInstitute@icdl.com.
- When do I pay?
Upon acceptance. In your acceptance notification you will receive a link to our online payment form. You have 5 business days to submit your payment and reserve your space at the institute. Please do not delay as spaces will fill quickly.
- Can I pay in installments?
Paying in 2 installments is an option. If you decide to pay in 2 installments you will be required to pay 50% of your tuition within 5 business days of your acceptance and pay the balance by April 25, 2010
- Several members of our staff are applying to the DIR® Institute, how does payment work to qualify for the group discounted rate?
All group members should receive an acceptance letter before paying. Please send the names of the accepted applicants and the organization you work with to DIRInstitute@icdl.com. IF you are paying individually the payment form will indicate the discounted fee. If your work place is paying your group please contact us directly at DIRInsitute@icdl.com for further instructions.
- What is the cost of the DIR® Certificate Program?
To view all the program fees for the 2010 DIR® Institute please visit: http://www.icdl.com/dirInstitute/overview/index.shtml. The cost of obtaining your Certificate depends on several factors:
- If you begin with DIRB the cost ranges between $1000 - $1100 a year depending on your discipline.
- DIRC 1 and 2 fees range between $1350 - $1400 a year depending on your discipline.
- These fees are discounted for early bird and group registrations by $50 - $100/ applicant. So apply early!
- The fee for tutoring during the year varies and is negotiated individually. We do have Facilitators offering reduced fees during the year ($35 a session) and each faculty member also offers limited hours at reduced fees. A minimum of 25 tutoring hours are required, which includes preparation of your case proposal and write up. Group tutoring can be counted depending on how frequently you present and how long you meet.
- There is no cost for reviewing the case write up proposal, but there is a flat fee for reading your case of $350 which includes individual feedback,
- Travel and hotel costs are not included. We work out special reduced fees for room and board. This year’s fees at the Bolger center are the lowest we have ever had. We encourage scheduling flights as early as possible if you are flying in.
- Will the discounted rates be available for the hotel? I did not see any information or a group code on the website?
Discounted rates are available and are listed on the website (http://icdl.com/dirInstitute/overview/) once you have been accepted into the program you will need to register at the Bolger Center and let them know that you are a participant.in the DIR Institute. There are no group codes. If you have someone you would like room with, it is best to register at the same time. The hotel will be happy to match you up. Please check on the types of beds in the room you are reserving. The suites have a pull out sofa. You can also request a folding bed in the room.
